ABOUT US



Welcome to Grove Biewers. We are located in Alberta, Canada. Grove Biewers is run by our loving family of six (2 kids and 2 fur kids). Our passion for animals is shared wholeheartedly together, and we breed because we believe this rare dog breed is phenomenal!

We operate from the comfort of our home to ensure proper socialization and care. Our dogs are raised and fully socialized with other dogs and people, including children. They don’t live in cages or kennels (unless they were being housetrained)- they have the entire home just as much as the rest of our family do. We love our dogs, they are exceptional family pets, have great personalities, and are easy to travel with. They are very energetic and loves to play as well as receive endless amounts of cuddles from their families. They love to explore, fetch balls and enjoy going out for daily walks. They are great for families and will keep you entertained for hours on end.


OUR GOAL

At Grove Biewers, our main focus is to breed well balanced puppies, simply happy and healthy. Our goal is to be known as ethical, compassionate, and trustworthy breeders in an already growing industry. We want to help this marvelous breed be recognized by families all over the world. All of our puppies will be raised the same way their parents are. They will have a lot of home environmental exposures, socialization, love and cuddles 24/7. This means when our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes they are familiar with the sounds, activities and the overall routine of a home and family life. Our puppies will be up to date on shots and deworming by the day they leave for their forever homes. We will make sure everything will go well for our puppies and their families when the time is ready. 

We do not breed puppies for show or breeding quality. We only breed puppies to be top quality pets for families to enjoy and love. 

We also offer stud services with our IBC registered male Biewer “Timbit”. He is a happy, healthy 6lbs boy and all of his shots are up to date. He is currently expecting his first litter with our dam, Coco. Will update with pictures of their litters soon.

OUR MESSAGE TO FAMILIES

At Grove Biewers, we only breed Biewer Terriers. Biewer Terriers are a rare purebred dog created through the occurrence of a recessive piebald gene in two Yorkshire Terriers. We believe in the safety of our puppies and we will only accept responsible families that will always offer our puppies a safe and loving home. Due to COVID regulations, the safety of our home and the puppies, we will not be accepting home visits at the moment. However, we welcome in-person meetings with potential families in a safe, public spot. You will get to meet us with one of our dogs, ask a million questions, socialize and play with the dog. After deposit has been made to hold the puppy of your choice, we will arrange weekly live videos for you to watch your puppy and littermates socialize. They will be able to hear you and your family’s voices, to make transitions to their forever home a little easier. There will be many laughter and tears as we watch them grow. They are tiny, funny, and charming to watch. Weekly updates and photos will be provided as well.
